Zee Tags are available in 8 bright colours:

Yellow, White , Purple, Pink , Green, Orange, Blue and Red

Feedlot tags come with additional colours: rose, light green, Light purple, dark blue and peach. The standard blue has been replaced with a lighter blue for feedlot tags.

No, these applicators are specifically designed for each type of tag.

Note that the Two Piece Reflex Applicator can be used to apply Strip Tags and RFID Tags.

It is a matter of preference. They both have high retention rates (although the one piece tag is regarded as superior in retention to all other two piece tags.), print contrast, bright colours etc. We recommend that producers with large herds use the one piece tag because it is faster to apply than the two piece system.

Firstly determine the type of tags you are applying ( 1 Piece, 2 Piece, Feedlot, Strip, Hog or RFID). Then follow the instructions via the Downloads page. Also try following the tagging tips document which can be found here for extra help.

*Pink is prefered due to the majority of printing is black which can't be seen on black tags.
